The schedule of conditions of the Joie de Vivre" "was simple: beauty, luxury, quality and simplicity.
It was thus equipped with a very good lens Berthiot Flor 3,5 to 4 lenses, sleeving and the hub cap is beautiful, it is delivered in a luxury case and it has one adjustment (in addition to the focusing), that of the aperture by the choice of a weather pictogram. It is equipped only one speed (1/50) what avoids raising the least question. Even the note is simple and largely calls upon the illustrations… and the characters of big size.
It did not meet however success. In 1959, a second Joie de Vivre (4,5) of less quality, and especially less expensive was launched… without more successes.
